Ramaiah Institute of Technology (RIT) is an autonomous private engineering college affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University in Bangalore. This college offers postgraduate and undergraduate programs. The college is free to frame its curricula and schemes of study. The college offers various undergraduate programs in diverse civil engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, biotechnology, and medical electronics.
Students seeking admission in Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Architecture programs at RIT need to clear the KEA/COMEDK entrance exam. However, the eligibility criteria for enrolment in BE program at RIT is securing at least 45% in 10+2 examinations with mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects.
